The beginning of a vision
It began with a craftsman who believed in possibilities. In the 1950s, he moved to Barcelona carrying little more than determination and a desire to create. He started working in a small workshop, repairing and producing components for espresso machines at a time when coffee culture was just beginning to take shape in the city. That workshop soon became a space for learning, invention, and persistence, a place where doing things with care meant doing them well. From that mindset, a new way of understanding coffee and craftsmanship was born.
From hands to vision
Over time, what started as craftsmanship evolved into a philosophy. Each piece, each improvement, carried the same conviction: to combine functionality with beauty, precision with emotion. That pursuit of excellence turned work into art, and art into purpose. The focus shifted from simply repairing to imagining, to creating something that could endure, inspire, and elevate the everyday ritual of coffee. This way of making became the foundation of everything we do today.
