Key Features According to Use
Single Thermoblock Machines
In machines with a single thermoblock, the thermoblock is used for both coffee preparation and steam generation. This can result in waiting times when switching between these functions, as the thermoblock needs to adjust its temperature for each task.
Dual Thermoblock Machines
Dual thermoblock machines have one thermoblock dedicated to heating water for coffee and another for steam generation. This improves the barista’s workflow, allowing both functions to be performed simultaneously without waiting times, enhancing efficiency and convenience during espresso and milk-based drink preparation. Additionally, the dedicated steam thermoblock increases steam power by 25% compared to Single Thermoblock machines.
In Professional Machines:
Ascaso’s professional models are equipped with an additional heating element* that ensures the coffee group and portafilter remain at the optimal temperature even after prolonged pauses or in stand-by mode. Additionally, a PEEK heating element increases resistance to wear and scale buildup, thereby enhancing the machine’s durability and consistency in cup quality.
